Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a mischievous Dachshund named Digger. Digger was known throughout the village for his silly jokes and puns that made everyone laugh, from the youngest puppy to the oldest hound dog.
One day, Digger decided that he wanted to play a joke on his friends. He donned his lucky red bandana and set off on his adventures.
First, Digger visited his closest companion, a feline named Mittens. Mittens was lounging in the sun, taking a nap, when Digger snuck up behind him.

"Who's there?" muttered Mittens, still half asleep.
"Interrupting cow," replied Digger with a snicker.

Mittens just scowled at Digger, but even he couldn't resist a smile at the silly dog's antics.
Next, Digger went to see his other dearest friend, a squirrel named Nutty. Nutty was busy collecting acorns in the park when Digger approached him.
"Why did the scarecrow win an award?" asked Digger with a twinkle in his eye.
"I don't know, why?" replied Nutty, intrigued.
"Because he was outstanding in his field!" exclaimed Digger, howling with laughter at his own joke.
Nutty just rolled his eyes, but even he had to admit that Digger's puns were always top-notch.
As the day went on, Digger continued to spread joy and laughter wherever he went. Whether it was at the park, or just in his own backyard, Digger never failed to make his friends and family smile.
